"I chose to represent the Venice Carnival in Abu Dhabi because I wanted to take advantage of an existing architectural resource that had never been considered for celebrating a Venetian Carnival. In this regard, I would like to mention the Traiders Restaurant, which hosted us, and thank the manager Nabil, who was immediately available, such a kind and accommodating person, as well as the singer Nina, who captivated everyone with her energy. I am a lover of costumes from the 1700s and early 1800s, and I adored the Netflix TV series "Bridgerton," set in London, with its exceptional costumes and talented actors. I wanted to immerse myself, even for just a few hours, in that cinematic atmosphere, bringing along friends equally fascinated by all of this and by the romantic spirit in the air."
